Jude Bellingham leads England to 2‑0 win over Panama and tops Group L

Jude Bellingham scored the opening goal and provided the assist for Harry Kane's second‑half header as England defeated Panama 2‑0 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The victory secured England's position at the top of Group L and guaranteed their place in the World Cup round of 16.

Bellingham's contributions gave him two goals and an assist in the tournament, while Kane's header marked his third World Cup goal and moved him past Gary Lineker to become England's all‑time World Cup top scorer with 11 goals. England will face the Democratic Republic of Congo in the knockout stage on 1 July.

The result followed England's earlier group‑stage wins over Croatia (4‑2) and a goalless draw with Ghana, confirming a strong start to the 2026 World Cup campaign.
