Jude Bellingham named England men's Player of the Year
Jude Bellingham has been voted the England men’s Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. The award, decided by supporters via the official England app, follows a record-breaking performance by the Real Madrid midfielder during the 2026 World Cup, where he scored seven goals.
Bellingham’s goals were instrumental in leading the Three Lions to a third-place finish, their best World Cup result since 1966. His tournament highlights included scoring twice in victories against Mexico and Norway. England manager Thomas Tuchel praised the 23-year-old, describing him as a competitor who “thrives under pressure” and “lives up to his full potential.”
Captain Harry Kane also reached a milestone, finishing as England’s top scorer for the seventh successive season after netting 12 goals across all international competitions. While Kane remains a prominent figure and a candidate for the Ballon d'Or, he did not secure the fan-voted Player of the Year honor this time.
