Jude Bellingham named England Player of the Year

Jude Bellingham has been voted England’s Player of the Year for the 2025/26 season. The Real Madrid midfielder secured the award for the second consecutive year through a fan vote.

The recognition follows a standout performance during the World Cup, where Bellingham played a pivotal role in England’s journey to the semi-finals and eventual third-place finish. During the 2025/26 international season, he made 12 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. Notably, all seven of his goals were scored during the World Cup tournament, making him England’s top scorer of the competition.

Bellingham expressed satisfaction with the honor, stating that while he did not focus on such awards while playing, the recognition added to a memorable summer representing his country. He has maintained his form into the start of the 2026/27 club season, recording three goals and two assists in his first eight matches for Real Madrid.
