Jude Law stars in Kremlin political thriller ‘Il Mago del Cremlino’

The political thriller ‘Il Mago del Cremlino’ (The Kremlin Magician), directed by Olivier Assayas, is making its television premiere on Sky Cinema Uno and streaming via NOW. Based on the novel by Giuliano da Empoli, the film explores the rise of Vladimir Putin and the construction of contemporary Russian power through the lens of propaganda and information control.

Jude Law portrays Vladimir Putin, while Paul Dano plays Vadim Baranov, a brilliant political consultant inspired by real-life strategist Vladislav Surkov. Alicia Vikander stars as Ksenia.
