Jude Michelle elected second female SRC President at Ghana's KNUST

Third‑year Political Science student Jude Michelle N. Korleh was elected the 66th President of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She became the university's second female SRC president, winning by a margin of more than 6,000 votes over her nearest rival, Kelvin Obeng Fosu, in a contest that featured 16 candidates.

Jude Michelle will serve alongside running mate Nana Kwame Oppong Antwi, who was elected Vice President. The election, noted for relatively low voter turnout, marks a milestone for female representation in one of Ghana's leading tertiary institutions.
