Judge Beatriz Biedma submits evidence of alleged plot to obstruct judicial cases
Judge Beatriz Biedma, who previously presided over the case involving David Sánchez, the brother of Spain's Prime Minister, has submitted new evidence to the Audiencia Nacional in the 'Leire Díez' case. Biedma, acting as a harmed party, alleges that a suspected plot intended to obstruct judicial proceedings against the government or the PSOE also involved attempts to contact a drug trafficking clan in Badajoz to target her.
As part of her submission to Judge Santiago Pedraz, Biedma provided over 90 YouTube videos from the 'Magistrado Anticorrupción TV' channel. She claims these videos, featuring former judge José Luis Sáenz de Tejada, constitute an active campaign of attacks against her.
Biedma also addressed why she had previously withheld witness identities, stating it was necessary to safeguard them from media exposure and potential external pressures. While Judge Pedraz has accepted Biedma as a private complainant, he noted that current documentation has not yet definitively proven she was the direct target of specific threats or coercion.
