Judge Eduardo Henrique Minosso Becomes First Bilateral Exchange Magistrate in Mato Grosso

On Tuesday, Eduardo Henrique Minosso was sworn in as a judge of the Mato Grosso Court of Justice, becoming the first magistrate to enter the court through a bilateral exchange. The ceremony took place in the presidency meeting room of the Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso (TJMT) and was attended by President Judge José Zuquim Nogueira, Vice‑President Judge Nilza Maria Pôssas de Carvalho, other magistrates, court staff and family members.

The appointment follows the implementation of CNJ Resolution 603/2024 and TJMT Resolution 12/2025, which allow judges to be transferred between states to be closer to their families. Minosso, who served as a judge in Pernambuco for two years and four months, said the move lets him return to his home state and be nearer to his relatives, while the TJMT leadership highlighted the event as a historic step for the Brazilian judiciary.
