Judges Praise and Critique Contestants on Vietnam's 'Biến Hóa Bất Ngờ

The Vietnamese television program "Biến Hóa Bất Ngờ" aired a competition featuring singers Thanh Chương, Phương Thảo and Hà Phương. Judges Quách Thành Danh, Vân Khánh and NSƯT Đại Nghĩa evaluated the performances, noting vocal technique, pronunciation and character portrayal.

Quách Thành Danh praised Thanh Chương’s high, bright voice but advised tighter articulation, saying the singer’s pronunciation was "soft and elongated" compared to Bằng Kiều’s "sharp, nailed" style. Vân Khánh highlighted Thanh Chương’s serious study of Bằng Kiều’s diction, recommending a more restrained delivery. Đại Nghĩa commended the contestant’s progress, especially the improved research and sharper regional accent.

Later, Hà Phương performed as the legendary Giao Linh, impressing the judges with a faithful recreation of the singer’s gestures, facial expressions and emotional delivery. The panel lauded the male contestant’s ability to convincingly adopt a female vocal style.
