Judicial Appointments in Paraguay and Ecuador Aim to Boost Court Administration
Camilo Cantero, a magistrate, was appointed Director Academic of COPAJU Paraguay during the organization’s second board session on 27 July. In his role, Cantero said he will promote academic activities, research and training to strengthen social‑rights advocacy and a human‑centered justice system guided by Franciscan doctrine.
On 30 July, Dayana Patricia Erazo Jumbo, a lawyer with a master’s in criminalistics, was designated Director Provincial of the Consejo de la Judicatura in Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador, replacing the interim director Frank Ricardo Caamaño Ochoa. The appointment is part of efforts to improve the administrative management of the provincial judiciary and expand access to justice across the region.
