Santo Domingo judicial complex reaches 65% construction progress
The construction of the Ciudad Judicial de Santo Domingo Oeste has reached 65% completion. Minister of Housing and Buildings Jean Luis Rodríguez and Attorney General Yeni Berenice Reynoso recently inspected the site to monitor progress.
The project involves an investment exceeding RD$2,700 million for 25,195 square meters of construction. It is designed to centralize the Judiciary, the Public Ministry, and the National Public Defense Office in a single complex to improve access to justice and reduce travel for local residents. Authorities aim to deliver the facility during the final quarter of the year.
Separately, Santo Domingo is experiencing a significant construction boom characterized by vertical growth and high-rise luxury towers in sectors such as Los Cacicazgos and Piantini. Additionally, the Santo Domingo bypass is driving economic development through the emergence of industrial warehouses, logistics parks, and new commercial businesses along the 72-kilometer route.
