Judicial Union in Chaco demands leadership evaluations for judges

The Judicial Employees Union of Chaco (Sejch) has formally requested that the Council of the Magistracy evaluate leadership qualities when selecting judges, prosecutors, and defenders. The union argues that academic and legal credentials alone are insufficient for these roles.

Secretary General Graciela Aranda stated that candidates should also be assessed on their ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and foster healthy work environments. This proposal follows increasing reports of workplace violence, including verbal abuse, discrimination, threats, and misuse of authority within various judicial departments in both Resistencia and provincial interior regions.
