Judiciary of Peru implements new salary scale for staff

A new salary scale for jurisdictional and administrative personnel of the Judiciary, subject to the Legislative Decree No. 728 labor regime, takes effect on September 1. The scale was approved by the President of the Republic and the Minister of Economy and Finance following a proposal from the Judiciary.

The new pay structure establishes various salary levels, including S/ 15,600 for Directivo 3, S/ 11,860 for Directivo 1, S/ 9,670 for Profesional 3, and S/ 4,100 for Auxiliar 1. The regulation also recognizes benefits such as July national holiday bonuses, Christmas bonuses, and school bonuses. Additionally, 40% of the income scale is subject to social charges and is considered pensionable.

The norm prohibits personnel under this regime from receiving any additional income, bonuses, or incentives beyond the approved amounts, with exceptions for Severance Pay (CTS), family allowances, and concepts granted under the State Collective Bargaining Law. The new scale will be financed through the institutional budget of the Judiciary.
