Judiciary of the State of Mexico opens registry for external experts

The Judiciary of the State of Mexico (PJEdomex) has opened a call for professionals, technicians, and specialists to join its Official List of External Experts. This registry aims to provide judicial bodies with specialized knowledge in science, technology, arts, and trades to assist in legal proceedings.

The call covers various legal matters, including Civil, Family, Commercial, Criminal, Labor, and cases involving juvenile offenders and the execution of sentences. The registry includes a wide range of disciplines: 23 exact sciences, 21 natural sciences, 12 social sciences, 12 health sciences, 41 forensic branches, and 3 areas for interpretation and translation services.

Applicants must demonstrate the necessary expertise to prepare reports or provide translations and must operate under principles of professionalism, objectivity, and impartiality. The Judiciary clarified that inclusion in this list does not establish an employment relationship or grant the status of public servants to the specialists.
