Judith Suminwa Tuluka receives honorary doctorate in DRC

Judith Suminwa Tuluka, the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has been awarded an honorary doctorate in International Relations by the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN). The distinction recognizes her leadership in governance, peace, and development. Suminwa is the first woman to hold the office of Prime Minister in the country and is among the few women to receive this honor from the institution.

Separately, the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship has launched a four-day workshop to update its communication strategy. Led by Secretary General Juvénal Sanga Kaubo, the initiative aims to align ministerial communications with the 2024–2029 five-year plan. The new strategy focuses on improving transparency and proactive communication regarding reforms such as free primary education, teacher professionalization, and digital transformation in education.
