Judy Sheindlin to retire from on-screen television work
Judy Sheindlin is retiring from on-screen television work following the conclusion of her Prime Video series, ‘Judy Justice’, which is set to end this October. Sheindlin indicated that her decision to step away from the camera is partly due to no longer wanting to undergo hair and makeup for filming, though she intends to remain involved in the industry as a producer.
Her son, Adam Levy, will succeed her in the courtroom with his new syndicated court program, ‘Adam’s Law’, which premiered on September 14th. While Sheindlin will no longer preside over cases on-camera, she plans to continue working behind the scenes, providing production support and offering her opinions on cases brought to her son’s court.
Beyond courtroom production, Sheindlin expressed interest in developing new creative projects, including an animated series titled ‘Judyverse’.
