Jugend trainiert für Olympia national finals held in Berlin

Students from various German schools participated in the national finals of the “Jugend trainiert für Olympia” school sports competition held in Berlin.

The girls' judo team from Sportschule Potsdam secured the national title after defeating Lessing-Gymnasium Düsseldorf 4:1 in the final. The Potsdam boys' team finished in fourth place, and their mixed team earned a bronze medal. Overall, the Potsdam team was the second most successful group in the competition, trailing only Saxony.

Representing Ludwig-Frank-Gymnasium Mannheim, the U18 athletics team achieved a tenth-place finish in the national finals. During the competition, several individual athletes set personal bests in the 800-meter race. The school also sent a U16 hockey team to the event.
