Juhsing Technology completes $2.7M solar and energy storage project in Palau

Juhsing Technology (4582-TW) has successfully completed the system integration and testing for a solar power installation project in Palau, commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project, valued at approximately $2.7 million, integrates solar photovoltaics, battery energy storage systems, energy management systems (EMS), and electric bus charging stations across several locations, including the National Congress building, a gymnasium, and the Ministry of Education.

The company expects to recognize 100% of the project revenue in the fourth quarter following final acceptance. This project marks a strategic shift for Juhsing from a traditional solar EPC contractor to a comprehensive energy integration service provider. The company utilized customized technical solutions to meet local requirements, such as designing structures to withstand wind speeds of 67.5 m/s and adapting equipment to Palau’s 480V power grid.

Juhsing aims to use this project as a replicable model to expand its presence in Southeast Asia and Pacific island nations, leveraging its existing subsidiary in Vietnam to drive growth in energy storage, operations and maintenance (O&M), and international system integration.
