JUI-F announces anti-government rally in Multan for October 15

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has announced an anti-government rally to be held in Multan on October 15. The event, named the Mufti Mehmood Conference, is intended to determine the political direction of South Punjab.

Party spokesperson Aslam Ghouri stated that the conference will serve as a milestone in the struggle against inflation, lawlessness, and for the protection of public rights. During the gathering, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is expected to announce the next phase of the party's protest movement. Other central and provincial leaders, including Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, are also scheduled to address the conference. The party is calling for transparent elections and the rule of law as primary objectives.
