Juiz de Fora implements new rules for event tickets and water access

Procon Juiz de Fora has issued guidance regarding new decrees aimed at regulating ticket sales and access to potable water at cultural events and festivals in the city. The measures are designed to increase transparency and prevent abusive practices.

Regarding ticket sales, the regulations include combating the use of bots and software, limiting purchases for large-scale events, ensuring price transparency, and prohibiting abusive fees. Consumers are also granted the right to regret online purchases and receive protection during in-person queues.

For water access, the decree guarantees that attendees may bring their own personal bottles or containers. Furthermore, organizers of events with a capacity exceeding 1,000 people are required to provide free potable water through water fountains or the distribution of individual containers. Events must also maintain adequate structures for emergency rescues.
