Juiz de Fora offers free skateboarding classes for students

The Jogada de Mestre – Skate project is offering free skateboarding lessons for children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 in Juiz de Fora. The initiative is specifically designed for students enrolled in the local public school system.

Organized by the Associação Juizforana de Skate (AJS) in partnership with the Instituto Albert Sabin, the program provides 48 vacancies split into two classes. Activities take place at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) skate park. Participants receive access to instructors, skateboards, and protective equipment at no cost. The project aims to use sports as a tool for socialization, discipline, and personal development, utilizing resources from parliamentary amendments.
