Juiz de Fora priests celebrate ten years of ordination

Three priests, Jorge Luis Duarte, Miguel Souza Lima Campos, and Wellington Guimarães da Silva, are celebrating ten years of priestly ordination. To mark the decade of their ministry, a Thanksgiving Mass will be held on Monday at the Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Conceição in the Benfica neighborhood of Juiz de Fora.

The celebration will be presided over by the Archbishop of Goiânia, Dom João Justino de Medeiros Silva. The three priests expressed that the anniversary is a moment to thank God for their journey and to renew the commitments made on the day of their ordination. Each priest continues to be guided by the personal mottos chosen at their ordination: Jorge Luis Duarte focuses on announcing the Gospel, Wellington Guimarães da Silva emphasizes humble service, and Miguel Souza Lima Campos seeks to live according to the teachings of Christ.
