Chan clarified that while Theegala is a successful professional, their lifestyle does not mirror that of top-tier superstars like Scottie Scheffler or Rory McIlroy. She specifically addressed travel stereotypes, stating that despite a partnership with a private flight company, the couple frequently travels via commercial flights and coach.

Additionally, Chan, a social media influencer with a significant following, pushed back against the narrative that she does not work.
