Juju Salimeni named Unidos da Tijuca muse for 2027 Carnival

Presenter and fitness influencer Juju Salimeni has been announced as the new muse for the Unidos da Tijuca samba school for the 2027 Rio de Janeiro Carnival. This marks her return to the Sapucaí parade after an eight-year absence from the Rio festivities.

Salimeni previously served as a muse for Unidos da Tijuca for three consecutive years between 2016 and 2018. In addition to her role in Rio, she will continue her involvement in the São Paulo Carnival as the Queen of the Drums for Barroca Zona Sul. By 2027, Salimeni will mark 16 years of involvement in the samba community.
