JuJu Smith-Schuster in Pittsburgh, but not for Steelers workout

Reports regarding former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster have undergone clarification. While initial reports suggested the 29-year-old free agent was scheduled to meet with the Steelers for a workout due to the team's current injury struggles at the position, subsequent updates indicate that Smith-Schuster is in Pittsburgh this weekend for reasons unrelated to the team.

Smith-Schuster, who played his first five seasons with Pittsburgh, most recently spent time with the New York Giants before being released in August. He has also recently held tryouts with the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Steelers are currently evaluating in-house options to address their wide receiver depth.
