Jujuy and UNLZ sign agreement for occupational safety training
The Jujuy Secretariat of Labor and Employment has signed a cooperation and academic training agreement with the National University of Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ) to enhance professional training in occupational health and safety.
The agreement, facilitated through the UNLZ Faculty of Engineering, allows workers from the Secretariat to enroll in a two-year complementary cycle for a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety. This initiative aims to improve professional capacities regarding the prevention and management of labor risks, ultimately contributing to better safety and health conditions within the province.
Under the terms of the agreement, the university will provide employees of the Secretariat with a 20% discount on monthly tuition fees and a 50% discount on annual enrollment fees. To qualify, applicants must hold a Higher Technical degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. The Secretariat will be responsible for identifying eligible candidates and certifying their employment status.
