Jujuy Básquet completes intensive preseason with two friendly wins

Jujuy Básquet has completed the most intensive phase of its preseason training as it prepares for the 2026/27 Liga Argentina season. The team secured two victories in recent friendly matches against El Carmen Básquet, winning 101-56 in the first encounter and 104-77 in the rematch.

Coach Guillermo Tasso expressed a positive outlook, noting that the matches were essential for testing collective performance and identifying areas for improvement. Tasso highlighted the team's high physical conditioning as a major strength, noting that players maintained energy levels well beyond the conclusion of the games.

While the team is working on defensive tactical alternatives and offensive transition fluidity, the coaching staff is also integrating local talent, such as Tiago Nistal, into the squad. The team is now shifting focus toward its upcoming debut against Hindú Club.
