Jujuy concludes 2026 Pork Week with awards and digital innovation

The province of Jujuy concluded the 2026 Pork Week with an awards ceremony recognizing 24 winners. The initiative, led by the Provincial Directorate of Livestock Development and supported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Production, aims to strengthen local pork production, encourage the consumption of provincial meat, and foster community engagement.

A notable feature of the event was the integration of digital innovation through the second edition of the ‘Cerdo Royale’ tournament, held within the video game Minecraft. This component was designed to engage younger generations by using technology to communicate agricultural knowledge and spark interest in the province's productive activities.

Officials in attendance included the Secretary of Productive Development, María Emilia Deiana; the Director of Livestock Development, Juan Casasco; and the President of the Jujuy Association of Electronic Sports, Luis Pérez.
