Jujuy energy program featured in international DW TV report

The international news network Deutsche Welle (DW TV) has highlighted the “Circulando Energías” (Circulating Energies) program in Jujuy, Argentina. The initiative is a provincial competition-program driven by the Secretariat of Energy in collaboration with the Ministries of Infrastructure, Education, and Environment and Climate Change.

The program encourages students and teachers to develop projects related to environmental care, including social media content, action plans, and sustainable goods or services. The DW report showcased various educational experiences across 90 participating schools, specifically noting projects from Colegio Nueva Siembra in San Salvador de Jujuy, Colegio San Alberto Magno in Palpalá, and Escuela de Educación Técnica N°1 “Ing. Luis Michaud” in El Carmen.

Featured student activities include the construction of solar kitchens by early childhood students, the creation of biodigesters by primary school students, and the installation of solar panels to power secondary school classrooms.
