Jujuy expands Provincial Mural Corridor with new works

The Provincial Mural Corridor Program in Jujuy expanded its reach in August with new artistic interventions in Santa Clara and Caspalá. Driven by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism through the Coordination of Cultural Rights, the initiative aims to extend muralism across the province.

In Santa Clara, artists Hugo Lamas and Leonardo Vargas were responsible for the plastic works. In Caspalá, the murals were developed by Gabriel Jesús and Melina Lunda. These projects are designed to integrate artistic expression into public spaces while connecting the artists' work with the specific cultural and social characteristics of each community.

The program seeks to promote the exercise of cultural rights, strengthen local identities, and preserve collective memory. By utilizing everyday spaces, the initiative encourages community appropriation of public areas and creates new opportunities for citizen participation and social encounter.
