Jujuy Federal Court upholds exclusion of PJ internal election list

The Federal Court of Jujuy No. 1, presided over by Judge Esteban Eduardo Hansen, has rejected an appeal by the 'Celeste y Blanca' List No. 2, confirming its exclusion from the Justicialist Party (PJ) internal elections.

The court upheld the Electoral Board's decision to deny officialization of the list, ruling that the group's attempts to correct errors exceeded mere 'rectification' and instead substantially reconstructed the original list. Key issues cited by the magistrate included inconsistencies between paper and digital formats, and the detection of over 130 duplicate names, with some candidates appearing between five and twelve times in different categories.

While the exclusion of List No. 2 is now final, the court ordered the suspension of the internal election schedule to remain in effect until a parallel case regarding challenges to the Electoral Board is resolved by the National Electoral Chamber.
