Jujuy hosts national ballet workshops and photography festival
The Jujuy province is hosting several cultural initiatives aimed at promoting arts and tourism. The National Ballet Folklórico of the Teatro Colón will conduct free training workshops across eight locations, including La Quiaca, Humahuaca, Tilcara, Purmamarca, San Salvador de Jujuy, San Pedro, Libertador General San Martín, and Rodeito. Scheduled for October 17 and 18, the program expects to reach approximately 200 teachers and over 1,500 dancers and students.
Additionally, the Viva Foto Fest is taking place in the Quebrada region from September 24 to 27. The festival brings together prominent photographers from across Argentina to capture the landscapes and culture of Jujuy, specifically in Purmamarca. Officials noted that the event serves to promote the province as a premier national destination for cultural and tourism-related gatherings.
