Jujuy implements professional training and internship programs
The province of Jujuy, Argentina, is advancing several initiatives to strengthen local labor skills and professional development. In San Pedro de Jujuy, the Municipal Employment Office has launched an industrial welding course. This program is backed by the provincial Ministries of Labor and Education and provides official certification to help workers enhance their technical competencies and improve job prospects.
Additionally, the provincial company JEMSE has partnered with the National University of Jujuy (UNJu) through the ‘Potencial Jujeño’ program. A second cohort of advanced engineering and geology students has joined the company to conduct professional internships. These students participate in technical projects involving lithium, renewable energy, and provincial infrastructure, aiming to align academic training with the specific demands of the region's growing industrial sector.
