La Libertad Avanza faces internal crises in Salta and Jujuy

Internal conflicts within the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party in the northern provinces of Salta and Jujuy are complicating the national government's relationship with regional governors. The administration relies on governors Gustavo Sáenz (Salta) and Carlos Sadir (Jujuy) to secure votes in Congress for key legislation, but provincial LLA factions are actively working to undermine these leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.

In Salta, national deputy Eliana Bruno has formally distanced herself from the provincial LLA leadership led by Alfredo Olmedo and María Emilia Orozco. Bruno cited issues regarding internal management, including restrictions on dialogue with provincial officials and allegations of mandatory fund contributions for certain employees. Additionally, local councilor Rodrigo Quinteros faces accusations of attempting to force his expulsion from LLA to align himself with Governor Sáenz, causing friction among the party's base.
