Tucumán Legislature appoints ERSEPT interventor and sets EDET SA tender deadline

The Legislature of Tucumán approved a Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) designating engineer Eduardo Cobos as the Interventor of the Ente Único de Control y Regulación de los Servicios Públicos Provinciales (ERSEPT).

During an extraordinary session, the legislative body also sanctioned an agreement between the Provincial Executive Power and the electricity distribution company EDET SA. This agreement sets a deadline of September 30, 2026, for the launch of a public tender, both national and international, for the sale of the majority share package of EDET SA.
