The Ministry of Health of Jujuy has announced that the province has reached a total of 70 organ and tissue ablation procedures in 2026. This milestone follows two recent operations conducted at Hospital Pablo Soria and Sanatorio Nuestra Señora del Rosario, both located in the provincial capital.

These procedures are managed through the coordination of the Jujuy Unique Ablation and Implant Coordination Center (CucaiJuy) and various public and private health institutions. All operations adhere to the strict preservation, allocation, and transport protocols established by the National Central Unique Ablation and Implant Coordinator (INCUCAI).

Health authorities emphasized that these successful transplants provide critical opportunities for patients to recover health, autonomy, and quality of life. The ministry also highlighted the essential role of donors and their families in supporting these life-saving medical interventions.
