Jujuy Real Estate Directorate acquires high-precision drone for mapping

The Provincial Directorate of Real Estate in Jujuy has acquired a WingtraRAY VTOL drone using its own funds to enhance territorial surveying and cadastral information updates. The new technology is intended to streamline building regularization processes and improve mapping accuracy across various terrains.

Equipped with a Survey 24 camera, the drone allows for faster and more precise coverage. Operators received technical training from Geosistemas S. R. L. to ensure effective use of the equipment. Antonio Ortiz, head of the Valuation Management Department, noted that the drone will expand operational capacity in both urban and rural areas, specifically helping to map regions like the Puna that were previously undocumented. This data will assist the Directorate and other provincial agencies in detecting undeclared property improvements and maintaining updated tax records.
