Jukurit takes Liiga lead after defeating HIFK

Jukurit has claimed the top spot in the Finnish Liiga following a 7–4 victory over HIFK in Helsinki. Despite HIFK leading 3–2 at the midpoint, Jukurit secured the win by scoring four goals in the final period.

HIFK coach Olli Jokinen expressed significant disappointment regarding his team's defensive performance and the visible pressure on the players. The team has now suffered three losses in their first four matches of the season.
