Jules Ahoka transfers from Royal Antwerp to Sunderland

Jules Ahoka, a 20-year-old midfielder, has officially transferred from Royal Antwerp to Sunderland. The deal is reportedly valued at over 10 million euros.

Ahoka, a Democratic Republic of the Congo international, joined Antwerp last year from the Congolese club AC Normands for approximately 150,000 euros. After playing for Antwerp's youth teams, he made a rapid ascent to the first team, appearing in four top-division matches. His physical presence and ball recovery skills drew significant interest from Sunderland.

To address the departure, Antwerp is expected to finalize the signing of Mauricio Benítez from Boca Juniors for roughly 2.5 million euros.
