Julia Brunjes releases new crime novel set on Wangerooge

Klarant Verlag has released a new crime novel by Julia Brunjes titled ‘Prielmord auf Wangerooge’. Set on the North Sea island of Wangerooge, the story follows island police officers Nele and Jule Hibenga as they investigate the death of a former sea rescue worker, Keno Willms.

While the death initially appears to be an accidental drowning in the tidal flats, an autopsy reveals it was a murder. The investigation leads the officers through old conflicts within the sea rescue community and a personal motive involving the victim's daughter, eventually uncovering a secret hidden in the sea.
