Julia Lüderwaldt considers legal action over Andic case reputation damage

Julia Lüderwaldt, the psychoanalyst who provided family therapy to Jonathan and Isak Andic, is considering legal action for damage to her reputation. Her legal counsel in Barcelona is evaluating claims regarding information that has characterized her as an inducer of homicide, a role her defense denies, asserting she only conducted therapeutic sessions.

Lüderwaldt is not currently under indictment or facing legal charges. Her defense has criticized the judicial system for allowing the case to be tried in the press, expressing concern that media coverage and social media videos may compromise the ability to find an impartial jury for the upcoming trial regarding the death of Andic.

As the judicial process resumes this September, authorities are expected to call further testimonies, including an English interpreter who previously testified regarding the confrontational nature of the therapy sessions.
