Julia Quintana assumes presidency of Conagopare

Julia Quintana Cedeño has assumed the National Presidency of the National Council of Rural Parochial Governments of Ecuador (Conagopare). Representing the La Esperanza parish in the Quevedo canton of Los Ríos province, Quintana previously served as president of the La Esperanza GAD Parochial and Conagopare Los Ríos.

Her leadership focus includes institutional strengthening, capacity building, and gender equity. During her previous tenure, she oversaw local infrastructure projects such as the construction of a new water well, road maintenance connecting Quevedo and Valencia, and improvements to public spaces in the La Esperanza central park.
