Julian Draxler reportedly set to join Schalke 04 reserve team

Former German international and World Cup winner Julian Draxler is reportedly set to join Schalke 04 II, the reserve team of his former club, which competes in the Regionalliga West, Germany's fourth tier.

Draxler, whose market value once reached 100 million euros during his tenure at Paris Saint-Germain, has experienced a significant career decline following stints at Wolfsburg and a loan spell at Benfica. His recent professional activity included playing in the Qatari league, where he drew attention for leaving a match prematurely.
