Julian F. M. Stoeckel warns against AfD rise

Entertainer and CDU member Julian F. M. Stoeckel has expressed strong criticism regarding the current political situation in Germany. In recent remarks, he warned against the rising popularity of the AfD, comparing the party to the ‘Pied Piper of Hamelin’.

Stoeckel, who joined the CDU in 2024 after previously supporting the SPD, highlighted several domestic concerns. These include the high cost of housing in cities like Berlin, the need for economic relief for companies regarding taxes and electricity, and necessary reforms in the education and healthcare systems. He also emphasized the importance of broadening the financial base for pension funding.
