Julian Hall and Lucas Herrington named to MLS All-Star Game
Red Bulls forward Julian Hall, 18, was selected as the commissioner’s designated player for the MLS All-Star Game against the Liga MX All-Stars at Bank of America Stadium. Hall has scored nine goals in 15 league matches, including a historic hat‑trick at 18 years and 50 days, making him the youngest MLS player to achieve that feat.
Australian defender Lucas Herrington, also 18, earned a coach’s selection for the same showcase after playing every minute of his debut season with the Colorado Rapids. Herrington, a Socceroos prospect touted by LaLiga giants Barcelona, became the youngest Australian to start at a World Cup and the youngest MLS‑based player to do so.
The All‑Star roster, featuring stars such as Lionel Messi and Son Heung‑min, will be contested on July 29‑30 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
