Julian Hall scores in third straight match for USA against Mexico
Julian Zakrzewski Hall, an 18-year-old forward for the New York Red Bulls, has made a historic start with the United States Men's National Team. In his third consecutive appearance, Hall scored against Mexico in a 3-0 victory at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
This goal marks his third goal in three international matches, following previous scoring performances against Peru and Chile. Hall becomes only the third player in USMNT history to score in each of his first three appearances, joining Eddie Johnson and Alexander Rae.
During the match against Mexico, Hall capitalized on a mistake by goalkeeper Raúl Rangel in the 28th minute following a play by Giovanni Reyna. The young striker, who has Polish heritage through his mother, has drawn significant attention for his immediate impact under coach Mauricio Pochettino.
