Julian Hall scores twice in two games as USMNT beats Chile
Julian Hall, an 18-year-old forward for the New York Red Bulls, scored in his second consecutive match for the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) during a 4-2 victory over Chile in St. Louis, Missouri.
Hall tied the match in the 51st minute with a header off a cross from Giovanni Reyna. This performance makes him the 13th player in USMNT history to score in his first two senior caps and the youngest player to score in back-to-back matches. In addition to his goal, Hall contributed to the team's offense by helping set up the opening goal for Sebastian Berhalter.
The USMNT secured the win at Energizer Park after trailing 2-1 at one point. Other contributors included Chris Richards, who scored the go-ahead goal, and Mathis Albert, who scored the final goal to become the youngest goalscorer in program history.
