Julian Weigl and Sarah Richmond announce third pregnancy
Professional footballer Julian Weigl and TV presenter Sarah Richmond have announced they are expecting their third child. The couple shared the news via an emotional Instagram video featuring them in a tropical setting.
The announcement comes after a difficult period for the couple, who publicly shared that they suffered a miscarriage earlier this year in February. In their announcement, they described the pregnancy as ‘a little more love, a little more hope, a whole new chapter.’
Weigl, who has played for clubs including Borussia Dortmund and Benfica Lisbon and currently plays for Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia, and Richmond have been a couple since their youth. They are already parents to two daughters born in 2021 and 2024.
