Julianna Peña to make wrestling debut at RAF Abu Dhabi

Former two-time UFC bantamweight champion Julianna Peña is set to make her wrestling debut with Real American Freestyle (RAF) at RAF Abu Dhabi on November 14. The event will be held at the Etihad Arena.

Peña, who has served as a color commentator for the promotion, will compete in a middleweight matchup against Diana Avsaragova. This marks Peña’s first competitive combat sports appearance in 17 months, following her loss to Kayla Harrison at UFC 316 in June 2025.

Avsaragova, a veteran of Bellator and the PFL, will be making her second appearance for RAF. The event is also headlined by a cruiserweight crossover title match between Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev.
