Juliano Floss clears halitosis rumors after zero reading on Halimeter

Juliano Floss, former contestant on Brazil's reality show BBB 26, underwent a halitosis test with a portable Halimeter after participants suggested he had bad breath. The device recorded a reading of 0 ppb, indicating no detectable volatile sulfur compounds at that moment. Dental specialist Fábio Bibancos noted that Floss showed no problems with brushing or gum health, but cautioned that a single measurement does not definitively rule out halitosis, which can vary with diet, time of day and other factors.

Actor Carmo Dalla Vecchia, also a former BBB participant, responded to Floss’s video, reminding that other conditions such as Helicobacter pylori infection or esophageal candidiasis can cause bad breath. He wrote, “Às vezes, é H. pylori… Falo por experiência própria! Aconteceu comigo!” while acknowledging Floss’s zero reading.
