Julie Andrews to narrate Jane Austen’s Emma for Noiser podcast
Dame Julie Andrews will narrate an unabridged podcast adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’ for the Noiser podcast network. The series, consisting of 27 installments, is scheduled to begin releasing two free episodes each week starting August 25.
The production aims to remain faithful to Austen’s original 1815 text, utilizing immersive sound design and original cinematic music to enhance the storytelling. This project marks a return to the ‘Jane Austen Stories’ series for Andrews, who previously narrated the network’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ adaptation.
Noiser Plus subscribers will have early access to episodes, while the general public can access the serialized format on all major podcast platforms.
